Margie ShorttMargie has professionally taught dance in Michigan, Illinois, and Florida for the past 60+ years. Margie Shortt Dance Studio has been an icon in Gulf Breeze since 1973. Margie is certified in Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, Jazz, Baton, and Hawaiian. She is a life time member of Dance Educators of America, Professional Dance Teachers Association, Honorary member of the Pensacola, Press Club, and a member of ASCAP, SESAC, and BMI.

Debbie Shortt BeddowDebbie has had dance education since the day she was born. Debbie has danced in numerous shows such as: The Merry Widow, Carmen, Passion Plays, Pensacola Little Theater Productions, Teen Board Shows, and was once a member of The Pensacola Civic Ballet Company. In addition to her notable performances, Debbie taught children with special needs at Oriole Beach Elementary School. She also assisted the late famed tap dancer, Al Gilbert from Hollywood. Debbie is certified to instruct in Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatic dancing.
Taylor BeddowTaylor has been dancing since she was three years old. Most of her dance training in Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop came from Margie Shortt Dance Studio. While in high school, Taylor danced with the Gulf Breeze High School Dance Team. She now choreographs, instructs, and creates all the music for our dance productions.
